Germany-based discount supermarket chain Penny Market has announced around $540 million investment plans for its ongoing operations in Romania.

Under the plans, the company aims to commit the amount in the next five years and plans to reach 400 stores.

The company had around $830 million turnover with 15% increase comparing the previous year in 2018.

Last year, Penny Market also spent invested around $87 million in Romania and bought lands to develop its logistics.
