U.S.-based technology giant Google plans to back new data centre facility with 4.5 billion Danish crowns ($690 million) investment.

With the investments, Google plans to construct a new data centre located in Fredericia, Denmark.

In 2017, Google also acquired bought another plot in Denmark, in Aabenraa, next to a U.S.-based technology company Apple Inc’s data facility.

As of the third quarter of 2018, Google generated $33.6 billion in revenue.
