Ikos Resorts, a Greek unit of hotels operator Corfu Chandris Hotel & Villas, announced that it has started the building of 150 million euros ($170.2 million) development project, Ikos Andalusia, in Spain.

Situated on the shores of a 14,000 square meter beach, Ikos Andalusia will offer 411 rooms and suites.

Ikos Resorts’ goal is to position Ikos Andalusia as a yardstick for excellence in the luxury all-inclusive resorts sector in Spain, bringing its infinite lifestyle experience to the Costa del Sol.

Located in Estepona, the project will be Ikos’ fifth resort and its first outside of Greece, expected to start operations in May 2020.
