Greencoat UK Wind, a renewable infrastructure investment firm, is nearing to land up to 131 million pounds ($169.2 million) through a share offering.
Greencoat UK Wind has offered 102.9 million shares placing at a price of $1.64 per share.
Greencoat UK Wind will use the net funds for repayments or reduction of future drawdowns under its revolving credit facility.
Further, Greencoat will also acquire a 36 percent stake in the Stronelairg and Dunmaglass wind farms from UK-based energy company SSE PLC for $583.7 million in a deal that will be closed by the end of March.
