Bosai Minerals Group (Guyana) Inc., a bauxite mining unit of China’s Bosai Minerals Group Co. Ltd., plans to commit over $23 million in new equipment and auxiliary facilities in Linden, Sout Africa.
With the investment, Bosai Minerals Group (Guyana) expects to hire between 150 and 200 new employees by the middle of next year.
South Africa and Guyana signed a wide-ranging declaration that could see Guyana benefiting in a range of areas.
South Africa will be willing to send technical teams to do preliminary studies for offshore exploration and mining including the country’s basins and will assist with alternative technologies to carry out mercury-free commercial mining of gold.
