Vietnamese tourism company Hanoi Tourist Company aims to construct a $500 million entertainment complex in Soc Son district.
Hanoi Tourist Company plans to build the complex with a horse racing course which will enhance local tourism through Soc Son horse racing track project.
The project is expected to help diversify tourist services while creating about 5,000 direct jobs. The contract’s support activities are expected to draw other 20,000 to 25,000 labourers while creating employment opportunities.
In 2007, Hanoi Tourist Company and South Korean consulting firm, Global Consultant Network, proposed to continue the project and was approved by the Hanoi authorities.
