Hungarian packaging solutions company Dunapack Packaging, unit of Austrian paper packaging company Prinzhorn, plans to infuse 15 million euros ($17.1 million) in a new cardboard packaging facility in Romania.

Dunapack Rambox said that it has commenced construction work on the new production facility in Bolintin.

The new facility, situated at over 22,000 square metre premises, will have high-speed cardboard production equipment and deliver various packaging solutions.

Dunapack said that with the deal, it has reached a total number of 19 plants in 10 countries with the new facility in Bolintin and expects production capacity of 180,000 square metres of cardboard per year.
