Indian chemicals to telecommunication company Aditya Birla Group will infuse about 15,000 crore rupees ($2.1 billion) in new facilities and capacity expansion in Gujarat over three years.
With the investments, Aditya Birla Group will extend its Grasim viscose staple fibre plant at Vilayat and Indian Rayon viscose filament yarn plant at Veraval for $1.1 billion.
The company said that the expansion at its Grasim's chemical business will be at $140.3 million as well as the mining and mineral sector and solar power projects.
Further, Aditya Birla Group will also make infusions in green technologies in all its plants as part of its environmentally friendly measures.
