Hong Kongese mobile accessory maker Astrum Holdings Limited announced that it will set up a manufacturing plant in Tirupathi at an investment of 100 crore rupees ($13.6 million).
The new factory will result in 1000 new job opportunities.
The company has also tied up with Indian product design consultancy firm LKKER Innovation for its upcoming innovations & design center in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Under this agreement, LKKER will work upon the design innovations for Astrum.
Astrum said that the partnership with LKKER Design further paves the way for its objective of becoming a design benchmark, as it enables the company to create synergies that help it continue to develop the best designs for its products.
