CtrlS, an Indian technology infrastructure company, intends to establish one of the world's largest tier-4 data center footprint in India by 2020 with an infusion of 2,000 crore rupees ($286 million).

CtrlS said that it aims to establish a 150 megawatt (MW) hyperscale data center in Hyderabad, a 100 MW similar facility in Mumbai and a 70 MW set-up in Chennai.

The company plans to begin constructing new centre in Mumbai from March, the Hyderabad facility from around May to June and Chennai in the last quarter of 2019.

CtrlS will finance its extension mostly from internal accruals and partly with debt funding and all the datacentres are expected to be operational in 2020.
