Indian non-banking financial company DMI Finance, a subsidiary of DMI Limited, has raised 1,610 crore rupees ($230 million) in an investment round.

The investment round was led by New Investment Solutions, an asset management company.

DMI intends to use the capital investment to finance its balance sheet development in the rapidly growing digital consumer, micro and small and medium enterprises, finance and the housing finance business.

So far, the company has secured approximately $700 million in equity across lending and asset management businesses.
