Indian real estate developer Embassy Group plans to infuse about 2,000 crore rupees ($281 million) to finalize its ongoing housing projects.

Embassy Group is also seeking to purchase land or form joint ventures for extending its footprint in Bengaluru as well as other major cities and also entering the senior living housing segment and adopting prefab construction technology.

The company said that the total cost for the ongoing projects is more than $701.1 million, of which about 60 percent has already been deployed.

Embassy Group, which is currently developing around 10,000 units across six projects, said that five projects would be completed by 2019 to 2020 while the nearly 300-acre township Embassy Springs in Bengaluru would take another five years for development.
