Indian online meat and fish ordering startup Licious announced that it has raised $25 million in its Series C funding round.

The company will use the fresh funds to expand to new cities, boost its value-added product portfolio and strengthen its supply chain.

The round was led by Bertelsmann India Investments, the strategic investment arm of German media holding company Bertelsmann SE and Co, and Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, along with UCLA and existing investors Mayfield India, 3one4 Capital, Sistema Asia Fund and InnoVen Capital.

Licious last raised $10 million in its Series B funding round led by U.S. venture capital firm Mayfield Fund and Indian early-stage venture capital fund 3one4 Capital.
