India-based agribusiness investment firm Mandala plans to raise $300 million for its third fund.

Nearly 65 percent of the second fund has been invested. Mandala is likely to close two more deals before launching its third fund.

The fund may be launched in the first half of the next fiscal after Mandala makes a few exits from its second fund.

For the new fund, the company expects to focus on the geographical diversification of its investor base and will invest in firms across India and South-East Asia.
