Mangalore's proposal is for energy improvement of ammonia and urea plants, expansion of diammonium phosphate (DAP) or nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium plant (NPK) and polycarboxylic ether plant at the existing premises in Panambur in Mangalore.

The company’s proposal is to increase production capacity of ammonia from 2,47,500 to 3,28,500 tonnes per annum, urea from 4,29,000 to 5,69,400 tonnes per annum, DAP and NPK fertilisers from 4,01,500 to 14,01,500 tonnes per annum and sulphonated naphthalene formaldehyde or polycarboxylate ether from 85,000 to 1,03,000 tonnes per annum.

The proposed new facility within Mangalore's plant would be contributing in the Indian program.
