Indian alumina, aluminium and power producer National Aluminium Company (Nalco) plans to invest 100 crore rupees ($13.5 million) towards welfare under its corporate social responsibility activities in Koraput district.
Nalco will get the new Industry 4 technological upgrade which will not only enhance capacity but also keep costs down.
The company said that the amount will be invested in healthcare, education, infrastructure development and women empowerment.
Nalco’s turnover is set to touch $2.4 billion by the fiscal year 2021 to 2022.
