Indian One97 Communications and Chinese e-commerce platform Alibaba Group-owned gaming and entertainment company AGTech Holdings have invested $16 million into the mobile gaming joint venture Gamepind Entertainment.
The money will be used to launch a separate app within the next six months to increase its reach.
One97 has raised over $2 billion since its inception and is currently valued at over $10 billion.
In July 2017, AGTech had invested $7.2 million in Gamepind, while One97 had pumped in $8.8 million to develop the product.
