Indian online restaurant and food ordering platform Zomato announced that it has collected 284 crore rupees (about $39.7 million) in funding round.

The investments came from U.S. investment firm Glade Brook Capital Partners as part of its Series I financing round that started with Chinese online payment firm Ant Financial's $215.1 million infusion.

Zomato, which was valued at around $2 billion, issued 13,000 class 1 preference shares to Glade Brook.

The firm ended the fiscal year 2018 with a 40 percent growth in revenues at $65.1 million.
