Indian consumer goods company Patanjali Ayurved Ltd. has revised its takeover offer to 4,350 crore rupees ($630.7 million) for edible oil manufacturer Ruchi Soya.

Patanjali Ayurved noted that it boosted its bid from an earlier offer of $603.2 million.

The revised takeover offer could be considered by next week subject to lenders approval.

Moreso, Indian edible oils major Adani Wilmar, which emerged as the highest bidder for Ruchi Soya in August last year, has withdrawn from the race.
