Indian energy to petrochemicals company Reliance Industries revealed that it intends to invest 10,000 crore rupees ($1.3 billion) in West Bengal and the plan is already under implementation.

The company said that its total investment in West Bengal alone stands at $3.9 billion.

West Bengal is expected to become the logistics hub of the East with plans to attract commitments of $699.7 million by 2020. 

In November 2018, Reliance Industries announced that it was planning to invest an additional $419.8 million in Odisha in creating digital infrastructure.
