Unacademy, an Indian educational technology startup, has secured $50 million in a Series D investment round.

Unacademy raised the new funds from Steadview Capital, Sequoia India, Nexus Venture Partners, Blume Ventures and others.

The startup is planning to use the new capital to onboard more educators, fuel growth across multiple exam categories and build its product and team.

The latest financing round brings Unacademy's total funding raised to date to $88.5 million.
