Indian online food and grocery marketplace Jumbotail revealed that the company has secured 90 crore rupees ($13 million) in Series B financing round.
Heron Rock led the funding with participation from Capria Fund, BNK Ventures, existing investors, Nexus Venture Partners and Kalaari Capital and individual investors.
Jumbotail will use the new capital to extend its supply chain, integrating the Jumbotail platform with the point of sale machines and with farmers, getting new fast-moving consumer goods brands onboard and for hiring new talent.
Previously, the company had received $8.5 million in its Series A investment round.
