India's HYPE Technologies in talks to raise up to 30 mln in Series A round

Indian luxury car rental startup HYPE Technologies is in early discussions to land $25 to 30 million in a Series A financing round.

The startup is in talks with venture capitalists and car makers including BMW Group India and Mercedes India to secure the new funds.

With the projected capital, HYPE Technologies intends to back the purchase of vehicle assets.

The startup, which generated gross revenue of $400,000 in the fiscal year 2018, seeks to achieve $1 million in gross revenue for the fiscal year 2020.
