Kae Capital, an Indian early-stage investment firm, is holding discussions to secure as much as $60 million for its third venture capital fund.

The firm expects the latest vehicle to be slightly bigger than its second $53 million fund, which was raised in 2017, to be able to invest across multiple rounds.

With the projected funds, Kae Capital will further back the seed stage with follow-on rounds across mobile, e-commerce, consumer internet, education and healthcare sectors.

Additionally, cheque sizes from the third venture capital fund are anticipated to begin at approximately $1 million.
