Indian skincare products company Mamaearth has secured $50 million in a fresh funding round.

Led by Belgian investment fund Sofina, the funding round also secured support from previous backer Sequoia Capital.

Early backers including Fireside Ventures, Stellaris Venture Partners, Sharp Ventures and Titan Capital also participated in the funding, which valued Mamaearth at $730 million.

Mamaearth plans to use the proceeds from the financing to double down on its brand’s growth via deeper offline expansion and also explore acquisitions in the beauty and personal care space.
