Omnivore Partners, an Indian early-stage venture investment firm has held the final close of its second fund with $97 million in capital commitments.
The second fund received support from some family offices, limited partners, which include BASF Venture Capital among others.
With the proceeds raised, Omnivore will invest in approximately 20 early-stage companies at a seed stage, pre-Series A level and also Series A level.
In January 2018, Omnivore completed the first close of the current fund, which surpassed its initial target of $75 million, at $46 million.
