Dublin-based energy company Greencoat has acquired a 9.2 megawatts wind farm in County Wexford for 10.9 million euros ($12.7 million).
Following the acquisition, Greencoat said that Germany-based wind turbine manufacturer Enercon GmbH will continue to manage the wind farm’s operation and maintenance contract.
The latest acquisition was funded by Greencoat’s revolving credit facility.
The company expects the transaction to add 3 percent to its pro forma installed capacity.
