Irish wind farm operator Greencoat Renewables PLC announced that it has bought the Ballybane wind farm located in County Cork, Ireland, for 61.3 million euros ($69.7 million).
Greencoat Renewables said that the wind farm consists of 21 Enercon E70 turbines with a net generating capacity of 48.3 megawatts.
The company said that deal was in line with its investment policy and was funded by its $284.4 million credit facility.
Following the acquisition, Greencoat Renewables operational portfolio totals 251 megawatts.
