The company said that it began its commitment in 2018 and it will run to 2020 to release capacity in its plant and make sure Tayto Snacks can fuel its growth agenda.

Tayto Snacks added that it will evaluate installing double sheeted technology in Ashbourne after finalization of its current factory renovation project.

German snack manufacturer Intersnack is committing in Tayto having bought it over a period leading up to 2015. Previously, Intersnack invested around $22.6 million in the Tayto business between 2006 and 2016.
