Irish Tech Challenge South Africa, in partnership with Wits University’s Tshimologong Digital Precinct and Dogpatch Labs, invites South African startups to collaborate with the Irish counterparts. Supported by the Department of Science and Innovation, Technology Innovation Agency, and the Embassy of Ireland, the initiative aims to accelerate technology companies aligned with the United Nations’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The 2024 program focuses on clean technology, healthcare, education, and water sanitation, aiming to address global challenges while fostering economic growth and employment. Seven selected startups will receive 10,000 euros ($11,000) in grants, a 10-day trip to Ireland for networking, access to technology expertise, and increased visibility through government support.
