Israel-based Magenta Venture Partners, a venture capital firm, has revealed that it is targeting $100 million for its new venture capital fund.

The fund intends to infuse in startups that seek capital and value driven by the team’s experience in Japan, the European Union and U.S.

A partnership between Japan's Mitsui & Co and two Israeli venture capitalists, Magenta’s new vehicle held its first close in October 2018 and is aiming for its final completion in 2019.

The vehicle pursues early-stage commitments in Israeli and Israeli-related technology startups in several scopes including artificial intelligence, automotive, smart cities, mobility, industry 4.0, enterprise software and financial technology.
