Cylus, an Israeli rail and metro cybersecurity company, has landed $12 million in a Series A investment round.

Existing investors, Magma Venture Partners and Vertex Ventures, co-led the round with participation from, Cyient, Cerca Partners, GlenRock among others.

Cylus is planning to use the money raised from the funding to grow the team, accelerate its activities in the European Union, U.S., and Asia-Pacific region, and increase research and development efforts.

The latest investment round has brought the company's total financing raised to date to $17 million.
