Valens, an Israeli semiconductor manufacturer, raised $63 million in funding round.

Valens intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of its portfolio for the autonomous vehicle sector and address the ongoing requirements of its automotive partners.

The round was led by U.S.-based venture capital firm Linse Capital, which was joined by Oppenheimer Asset Management, an asset management arm of E.A.Viner International Co.

On April 6, 2017, Valens raised $60 million in Series D funding round.
