Italy’s Aquafil to build new carpet facility in U.S. with $12 mln investment

Italian carpet manufacturer Aquafil S.p.A. aims to construct a new carpet recycling plant in Woodland to divert rugs from Northern California landfills.

Aquafil intends to invest $12 million in its new facility in Woodland.

The new facility will create about 50 job opportunities and divert tons of carpet from landfills.

The plant operation will start up by the end of the first quarter.
