LINE Games, a Japanese subsidiary of mobile applications developer and Internet services firm LINE Corporation, has raised 125 billion won ($110 million) from Hong Kongese investment firm Anchor Equity Partners’ Lungo Entertainment unit via a third-party allotment.

LINE Games said the fresh capital infusion will be used to identify and invest in new global partnerships.

The funds will also be used to pursue game businesses catering to the global market, and acquire new internet protocol for games and titles.

LINE went public in 2016 via a dual U.S.-Japan listing, raising over $1 billion.
