SkyDrive, a Tokyo-based flying car developer, has raised $14 million in a new round of financing.
STRIVE III Ltd. Liability Partnership, ITOCHU Technology Ventures, Drone Fund, Z Corp., and Energy & Environment Investment made the investment in the latest round.
SkyDrive intends to leverage the money raised from the new funding to speed up developing its drone to conduct a test flight within this year.
With the latest investment round, SkyDrive's total financing raised to date has reached $19 million.
