Mexican payments services provider Clip has received a $20 million investment from Japanese telecommunication to investment company SoftBank Group.

SoftBank noted that the commitment was part of a financing round that recently raised nearly $100 million.

With the latest financing, Clip’s valuation has been boosted to between $350 million and $400 million, bringing the startup's total funding raised to date to circa $160 million.

Recently, SoftBank announced a $1 billion investment in Colombian delivery app Rappi.
