Kenyan coffee yields from various cooperative societies and estates have continued to command impressive prices at the Nairobi Coffee Exchange (NCE). During the latest auction, held, a total of twenty-five thousand one hundred eighty bags of coffee, sourced from over one thousand cooperative societies, were traded, amounting to $7.68 million in revenue. Notably, some six thousand seven hundred forty-two bags of grade AA coffee fetched $2.33 million, while another eleven thousand one hundred twenty-four bags of grade AB earned the same amount. Alliance Berries Ltd emerged as the top performer, trading nine thousand twenty-seven bags of coffee valued at $2.33 million, representing 36 percent of the total coffee sold. Kirinyaga Slopes Brokerage Company Ltd and New Kenya Planters Cooperative Union also made significant contributions.

Particular cooperative societies and estates showcased exceptional quality and achieved premium prices for their produce. In total, seventeen buyers participated in the auction, with Kenyacof Ltd emerging as the largest purchaser, acquiring five thousand nine hundred thirty-four bags of coffee equivalent to 363.46 kilograms at $1.85 million.
