The introduction of Soovita Banana Wine is hailed as a breakthrough in the banana production value chain, potentially creating employment opportunities for numerous farmers.

In a parallel venture, Vicky Green Farms has invested 30 million Kenyan shillings ($188,976) in a certified tissue culture laboratory. Situated in Kenya and recognized by the Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service, this facility plays a vital role in producing certified clean planting material, meeting the growing demand in the region. The move aligns with the broader economic goals of Lake Region Economic Bloc member counties, focusing on enhancing agricultural production through value addition and agro-processing.
