South Korean postal service company Korea Post’s insurance arm is seeking to infuse $50 million in U.S. investment management services provider Adams Street Partners’ venture fund.

Adams Street Partners intends to either manage the investment through a separately managed account or a fund-of-funds (FoF) structure.

The total investment amount may differ relying upon the accomplishments of the fund manager. Korea Post plans to infuse over half of its investments in FoFs, whereas the rest will be direct commitments into growth-stage venture capital firms.

Previously, Adams Street secured $426 million for its Venture Innovation Fund II, which majorly targets early-stage venture fund managers across the world.
