Luxembourg-based closed-ended investment company BBGI SICAV SA announced that it has purchased a significant stake in three private-public partnership projects in the Netherlands.

The three Dutch private-public partnership projects, in the transportation and social infrastructure sectors, are the A1/A6 motorway widening, the N18 road expansion between Varsseveld and Enschede, and a new town hall in Westland.

The projects were purchased as part of a collaboration with Dutch construction company constRoyal VolkerWessels Stevin NV. In addition to the three projects, BBGI also has acquired additional interests in the local improvement finance trusts in the UK.

The trusts consist of 21 primary health care facilities and local community hospitals in north London and Liverpool, mainly in areas in need of renovation. BBGI said that the total price for all five is 29.1 million pounds ($36.8 million).
