Malta’s River iGaming offers $15 mln for UK Gaming Realms' real money unit

Malta-based technology investment company River iGaming PLC will acquire UK-based real money operating unit Bear Group Ltd. from mobile gaming content developer Gaming Realms PLC for 11.5 million pounds ($15 million).

Gaming Realms, which booked $39.6 million in 2017, will use the net funds to develop games, a remote games server and worldwide licensing.

River iGaming noted the move is in line with its strategy of focusing its resources on content development and international licensing of its Slingo brand.

Gaming Realms will also divest its remaining 30 percent stake in River UK Casino Ltd.
