Malta's Aspire agrees to buy Bulgaria's GMS Entertainment for $15 mln

Malta-based iGaming solutions provider Aspire Global Plc has agreed to purchase Bulgaria-based online and social casino gaming services firm GMS Entertainment Ltd.

Under the pact, Aspire Global will buy 100 percent shares in GMS Entertainment for 13.1 million euros ($15 million).

The deal will enable Aspire Global to expand its gaming portfolio as well as provide a distribution channel for proprietary games outside of its network.

The proposed acquisition is anticipated to close in the third quarter of 2019, subject to approval from authorities.
