Air Arabia Maroc, the prominent low-cost airline headquartered in Morocco, has unveiled plans to inaugurate four new routes from its latest base in Tetouan, commencing on March 31st, 2024. These routes will connect Tetouan to Barcelona, Malaga, Brussels, and Madrid. The airline, operating over sixty routes from six bases in Morocco, which include Casablanca, Nador, Oujda, Fes, and Tangier, utilizes a modern fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft. The CEO of Air Arabia Group emphasized that this expansion aligns with the airline's commitment to providing seamless travel options and value-driven offers for passengers, contributing to the growth and accessibility of air travel in the kingdom. The new flights, scheduled twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays, offer round-trip fares starting from as low as 299 dirhams (approximately $30).

This strategic expansion is anticipated to benefit both Moroccan and European travelers, presenting new and affordable travel options. The direct flights from Tetouan aim to strengthen connections between the northern Moroccan city and popular European destinations, potentially boosting tourism and economic activity in the region.
