Mozambique-based MozParks, a pioneer in Sustainable Economic Zones, has celebrated the inauguration of its new office in Triunfo, Maputo, Mozambique. MozParks has been dedicated to fostering eco-friendly industrial growth since its establishment in 1999. Beluluane Industrial Park (BIP), operated by MozParks, has attracted $2.5 billion in investments, generating over ten thousand jobs. The inauguration event, attended by government officials and partners, showcased MozParks' commitment to promoting collaborative spaces for eco-friendly industrial development. The company's eco-industrial model facilitates resource sharing among tenants, fostering profitability, local production, and environmental stewardship. With an agreement to develop twenty parks across Mozambique, MozParks aims to mobilize employment and entrepreneurship, linking anchor industries like Mozal and Kenmare with smaller enterprises, government, non-governmental organizations, and communities to foster collaboration and synergy.

MozParks' growth trajectory includes the evolution from Beluluane Industrial Park to MozParks in 2021, attracting key companies like Mozal and housing over fifty companies from seventeen countries. The park, representing nearly 30 percent of Maputo Province's industrial workforce, aims to replicate its success across Africa.
