Conservio, a Dutch marketplace for nature-based travel company, has raised 468,620 euros ($500,000) in a funding round.
The pre-seed round was conducted by Volve Capital with more support from several angel investors from South Africa and Europe.
Conservio will use the funds to accelerate its growth in South Africa, expand its team, scale marketing efforts and further improve the booking journey of nature-based travel.
In addition, the company will also use the funds to make this type of travel more accessible and fuel its mission to accelerate the positive impact of ecotourism.
