Amsterdam-based travel technology startup NeoKe has secured 1.3 million euros ($1.4 million) in its first round of funding round from Dreamcraft Ventures, ff Venture Capital, Gharage and Plug & Play.

With the latest financing round, NeoKe, which uses blockchain and cloud-based technologies, aims to create a new model of interaction between consumers and travel suppliers using decentralized digital identity and biometrics solutions.

Recently the company launched two products, NeoKe Wallet, which allows travelers to securely store and share their personal data with suppliers as needed, and NeoKe Connect, an identity management and automation platform for travel providers.

Early next year, the company, which uses blockchain and cloud-based technologies, will work with an airline to test its Orchestration Engine, a tool to aid travel providers to offer ancillary products personalized to the customer’s digital identity.
