Netherlands' Elastic agrees to buy U.S. Endgame for $234 million

Elastic N.V., a  Dutch information technology and data analysis services company, has agreed to buy Endgame, Inc., a U.S. cyber operations platform provider, for $234 million.

With the proposed deal, Elastic will further advance its ability to offer a comprehensive security solution focused on endpoint security.

In combination with Elastic’s security information and event management efforts, Endgame’s endpoint detection and response and endpoint protection platforms capabilities will help organizations extend threat hunting to the endpoint.

Subject to the satisfaction of regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions, the transaction is anticipated to close during Elastic’s fiscal third quarter.
