NewEase China, a warehousing and logistics platform, has received $800 million equity investment from U.S. private equity firm Warburg Pincus.

Upon completion of the deal, Warburg Pincus will hold 50 percent shares of NewEase China.

With the new funding, NewEase China is planning to realize the layout of 10 million square meters of logistics facilities in the country in the next three years.

Warburg Pincus has 17 private equity funds, which have invested more than $68 billion in over 825 companies around the world.
