Nigerian Bottling Co. (NBC) Ltd, unit of Swiss drinks maker Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Co S.A., part of U.S. Coca Cola Co., plans to boost its operations in the country.
With 500 million euros ($565.3 million) pump in, NBC will extend its manufacturing facilities to enhance production capacity.
The NBC plan, which commenced in 2015, includes the expansion and extensive upgrade of its manufacturing plants in Asejire, Ikeja, Abuja, Owerri, Challawa, Maiduguri, Port Harcourt and Benin.
NBC said that it will invest in capital expenditure up to 2020 to deliver operational excellence across the value chain, which is in line with the ongoing accelerated business plan.
